Back-to-School Bash

Our family attended a Back-to-School Blow-Up Bash this weekend at church. The kiddos had a great time jumping, sliding, and climbing on all of the inflatables as well as eating carnival food like cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, and ice cream. It was a great function full of fun activities and great fellowship.

First Day Jitters

Cameron completed his first day of kindergarten!!!

He looked like such a little guy walking into school this morning with a great big backpack attached to him. However, he was a very big boy. Cameron had several advantages that made this day a very easy transition for him. First, Cameron's preschool teacher had Cameron spend a few days in Mrs. Brouyette's class last year to get him aquainted with his kindergarten teacher. Second, Mrs. Brouyette's class is right beside his preschool class. This allowed him to feel oriented in the school layout. And third, Mrs. Brouyette is the mother of one of Cameron's friends. "Girlfriend" is actually what he called her last time we talked about her. Cameron and her daughter, Maddie, used to go to the same daycare and became good buddies. We went bowling together this summer and Cameron even went to their house to play.
Anyway, Cameron did wonderful!! I stopped in to see him during my lunch (I loved being able to do that!) and he showed me what he was working on and we chatted for a minute before I left.

Love

Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.

1 Corinthians 13:7-8

Eric and I are celebrating our 11th year of marriage. Wow! I love being married to this man. Trying to explain how much I love him and my feelings for him cannot possibly explain it all so I will just leave it at...I love you, Eric!!

At the same time Eric was also celebrating a birthday. I surprised him with a night out, dinner with friends, and a day of shopping. We had a great time together!
