So Easy, So Fast, and SO FUN!

Cameron loves to cook so on this day he was really excited to cook play dough. It can't get any better than being able to play with what you cook. The recipe is super easy and the play dough turns out great.

Play Dough

You will need:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 Tbs. vegetable oil
Food coloring

1. Combine flour, salt, and cream of tartar in a saucepan. In a bowl, put water, oil, and food coloring. Gradually stir wet ingredients into the dry ones until mixture is smooth.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until a ball forms. Remove from stove and cool.
3. Knead the play dough until smooth. Then, start playing!! Store in an airtight container; dough lasts up to four months.

My Boys

All I need to say is...I love these boys!

Routines to Cherish

Today I sat down with a bowl of shredded wheat and my little birdie quickly found me. This summer Cade and I made a morning routine of sharing a bowl of cereal together. Since we are both lactose intolerant it works out well that we can use the same milk. It is hard to resist this face!

Who Are My Readers?

I love to know who is checking out my blog. I can track where my visitors are from with my MapLoco. I check this everyday! It is so interesting to see the dots across the USA. But I want to know more! Who are my readers? I know I have some faithful readers and many of you leave me comments. Thanks! I am encouraging all of you to leave me comments. Just a quick note to let me know you were here today. Even if I don't know you I would like to know you found interest in my blog.

Summer Reflection

Labor Day weekend provided me the opportunity to do some organizing, which I love to do. And I was able to work on some projects that had been on hold since school started. One project I completed was this frame I recently bought from Creative Memories. I love this frame because I can keep a current picture of the boys or our family on my kitchen counter decorated to my liking.
