We Couldn't Resist

When Eric and I found these pajamas there was no question they were designed for OUR Cade Xander!  Cade still gets shy when people ask him about his scar on his face (most people think it's a recent scratch), but he handles it really well.  We don't mind Cade's scar, it has just become a cute part of him.

(It's hard to read, but the shirt says, "Chics dig scars."  And we've always called Cade a little monkey...too perfect for him!)

Basketball Season

Basketball season is here and Cameron was excited to play again this year.  He has made great improvements from last season.  Not only are his skills much better, but he is so much more comfortable on the court this year.

For Valentine's Day Cade gave me a coupon book in which he would complete chores for me as a gift.  This is the perfect present for me as acts of service is one of my love languages!  Anyway, Cade was so excited to complete ALL of these chores for me.  And then he repeated them with enthusiasm the next day too.  I am so proud how he realizes how much I appreciate him being my helper!

Proud Moment

You know about those moments you have as a parent when your children make you so proud?  Well, let me tell you I am one proud mama...

Cade was very adamant about his Valentine's Day plan that Eric and I had to make sure his plan came to fruition.  Cade decided he wanted to make a Valentine's card for his family and pets in heaven.  He also wanted to included God and Jesus.  How does a Valentine get sent to heaven you may ask...Cade had it all figured out...helium balloons!

One balloon was for his family and pets and the other was specifically addressed to God and Jesus.  I am sure they all enjoyed their Valentine's Day cards in heaven!

Cade is one thoughtful, sweet, and caring little boy!

Christmas

As always, we had a wonderful Christmas together.  The boys were at such a fun age for opening gifts, having fun reactions, and then wanting to play with their toys.

We spent lots of time with family and just enjoyed our two weeks of relaxation.

These pictures capture these moments.
