20% Fair

This past week, the 6th grade high ability Language Arts classes gave presentations on a topic of their choice.  The project was called 20% Time.  These specific classes complete a week's worth of work in 4 days which leaves one day a week in which they spend time researching and preparing a presentation on something that is meaningful to them.  With no surprise, Cameron chose Star Wars.  For his display he took in his Star Wars Legos and other spacecrafts and figures.  He also had a slide presentation prepared for his speech.

SNOW!

At last we had snow the boys could play in!  According to Cameron, this winter was a bummer because we didn't have lots of snow.  (I may beg to differ!)

Switzerland

Note:  This post missed its accurate chronological place in my blog, but the opportunity was too wonderful not to include now.

Eric took an AMAZING Trailblazer trip to Switzerland.    He stayed at this beautiful hotel...

...with this amazing view of the Swiss Alps!

In fact, everywhere they traveled had amazing views.  Here are just a few of the many photos Eric captured.

Eric and his qualifying agents (and wives).  Way to go team!

Eric brought home swiss army knives for the boys.

I can't believe I entered a new decade!  My family and friends made me feel very special!  They made turning 40 seem not so bad!

3-Dimensional

Cade put together this 3-D puzzle of the White House he got for Christmas.  He needed a little help, but it was fun to put together and see the finished project.
